Russell Smith and Island Solar Cell

I have known Russell Smith for eight years. He is the electrician that wired my house on Cayo Costa Island in 1999. This island is off the grid. We were the first to bring solar power to the area. Russ installed our house’s solar cell power.

I have continued to hire Russ, and he has done all of my solar work. After the initial install, he rebuilt the system from top to bottom after hurricane Charley (Aug 2004) destroyed my entire solar array and the inverter.

Living on a barrier island, knowing a “Russ” has proven to be a great virtue. You can count on him for any problem that occurs. He has to travel by boat to reach me, and has always done this in a timely manner. He also takes care of my solar water pumping equipment. Russ is an all around hard-working talented individual.
